DESCRIPTION:El Safer Internet Day o traducido al español Día de Internet Más Segura (no confundir con el día mundial de internet que se celebra el 17 de mayo ni con el día internacional de la seguridad informática que se celebra el 10 de noviembre) es un día organizado para promover el uso seguro y responsable de las tecnologías online y teléfonos móviles especialmente entre adolescentes y personas jóvenes alrededor del mundo. \nEl Día de Internet Segura\, “Safer Internet Day” (SID\, por sus siglas en inglés) es un evento promovido por la red INSAFE/INHOPE con el apoyo de la Comisión Europea\, que se celebra cada mes de febrero con el objetivo de promover un uso seguro y positivo de las tecnologías digitales\, especialmente entre niños y jóvenes. El SID se celebra el segundo día de la segunda semana del segundo mes del año y reúne a millones de personas de todo el mundo para impulsar cambios positivos y concienciar acerca de la seguridad en Internet\, organizando distintos eventos y actividades. \nLa web oficial del evento es saferinternetd13ay.org y los hashtags del evento son #SaferInternetDay\, #SID2026 (actualizando el año al actual)\, y para el caso de España #DíaInternetSegura\, #DíaDeInternetSegura\, #InternetSegura… \nSe celebra anualmente el segundo día de la segunda semana del segundo mes\, es decir\, el segundo martes de febrero. \nSafer Internet Day (SID) is organised by Insafe in February of each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones\, especially among children and young people across the world. \nEn 2017 se celebró el 7 de Febrero con el lema «se el cambio: unidos por una internet mejor«. \nSafer Internet Day 2017 will be celebrated on Tuesday\, 7 February 2017 with a theme of ‘Be the change: Unite for a better internet’. \nEn 2018 se celebró el martes 6 de Febrero con el lema «Crea\, conecta y comparte respeto: un mejor Internet comienza contigo«: \nThe 2018 theme\, «Create\, connect and share respect: A better internet starts with you» is a call to action for every stakeholder to play their part in creating a better internet for everyone\, in particular the youngest users out there. More than that\, it is an invitation for everyone to join in and engage with others in a respectful way in order to ensure a better digital experience. \nEl 2019 se celebró el martes 5 de febrero con el lema «juntos por una mejor internet«: \nThis year’s Safer Internet Day (SID) celebration took place on Tuesday\, 5 February 2019.
